  I am strongly hearing impaired. The items for people without hearing as well as most items for hearing impaired people are of relevance to me.

I do not have any problems with the screen display and have left it unchanged.

I have chosen all items which have any relevance with hearing impairments then it is definitely of interest to see whether or not a facility has reached any precautions for this group of people

List of the items I have chosen:

1. Items for people without hearing

• Communication with staff in national / international sign language

• Entrance - Intercom for people without hearing
• not included: Lifts - Intercom for people without hearing
• Telephone - Induction connection for hearing aids or Telephone with adaptable volume

2. Items for people without hearing or with hearing impairments

• Information tools for hearing impaired
• Visual alarm signals
• not included: Event room - Induction loop system

3. Additional items for hotel room

• Doorbell indicated by vibrating device or Phone calls indicated by vibrating devices
• Visual fire alarm or Vibrating alarm

People with hearing impairments do not usually have problems with the architectural accessibility with the exception of alarm signals in hotels or apartments. It is more important to know where people are available who can communicate with people without hearing. They can at least give an idea of the precautions which have been reached for people without hearing and to which extent the staff is aware of their needs.
